On Monday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stated that, with the right positioning, artificial intelligence (AI) presents a fantastic chance.
While speaking with students at the University of Texas at Dallas, the Lok Sabha Leader addressed concerns that artificial intelligence (AI) will eliminate some jobs.

According to him, new technology always creates more jobs while eliminating some.

Someone always claims that new technologies will eliminate jobs whenever they are introduced. A lot of people were worried that computers would eliminate jobs when they initially came out. There was concern that calculators would eliminate certain occupations when they were originally introduced. With the introduction of ATMs arose the fear that they would eliminate jobs. In reality, it does redistribute employment opportunities from some people to others. I don't think jobs will disappear, but I do think that new kinds of work will emerge and that other kinds of systems will reap more or less benefits," Gandhi stated.

For instance, the Congress leader believes that artificial intelligence will present a major problem for India's IT industry. However, I truly do not believe that Bajaj, which manufactures scooters, will have a significant challenge. It will create some new jobs and eliminate some old ones; depending on your positioning, it will either be a boon or a bane.

Computers are unnecessary for Indians, according to a speech delivered by Mr. [Atal Bihari] Vajpayee. Also, someone else said that Indians aren't going to require English. Millions of jobs were created in India because of computers. "Hence, it is dependent upon your degree of adaptability and your capacity to envision the future," he continued. As part of his three-day trip to the United States, Rahul Gandhi touched down in Dallas, Texas, on Sunday. At the airport, members of the Indian diaspora and Chairman Sam Pitroda greeted the Congress MP.
