September 25 :
Trump asserted that Iran had threatened him during his time as president. According to the Republican presidential candidate's post on the X social media site, "big threats on my life by Iran." "Moves were already made by Iran that didn't work out, but they will try again," said the official.

He expressed his gratitude to lawmakers for increasing the Secret Service's budget.

Trump expressed his gratitude to Congress for passing a bill providing significantly more funding to the Secret Service. He praised the bipartisan nature of the vote, noting that there were zero "NO" votes against the measure. He made the ominous statement, "An attack on a former President is a Death Wish for the attacker!" in response to the possibility of an assault on a former president, stating that such an attack would meet a disastrous end. Trump campaign communications director Steven Cheung said that the president was briefed earlier today by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence about specific and real threats from Iran to assassinate him in an attempt to destabilize and sow chaos in the United States.

"Intelligence officials have identified that these continued and coordinated attacks have heightened in the past few months," stated Steven Cheung, director of communications for Obama's presidential campaign.

"Law enforcement officials across all agencies are working to ensure President Trump is protected and the election is free from interference," he added.

Vice President Kamala Harris's stance on immigration became the focal point of Trump's second post. For a long time, Trump has been critical of Harris, who was tasked by Biden's administration with addressing the causes of Latin American migration. It was framed by Trump as a politically motivated move, and she was accused of waiting "almost four years" to visit the US-Mexico border.

Trump claimed that Border Czar Kamala Harris's decision to visit the Southern Border was motivated by her presidential aspirations and that it had been nearly four years since she had decided to do so.

Trump went on to say that millions of illegal immigrants, including terrorists and criminals, were able to enter the nation because Harris had delayed her visit to the border. The author said, "She's trying to con the public like she did a good job at the Border when, in fact, she has destroyed the very fabric of our Nation allowing 21 million people in from places unknown."

The president claimed that numerous foreign nationals entered the nation "from prisons, mental institutions, and criminal cells all over the world."

As for Harris, she is set to make her first visit to the border since President Biden announced he would not seek re-election on Friday, during a trip to Arizona, according to the New York Times.

Harris is trying to bolster her stance on immigration in the face of growing scrutiny from Trump and Republican leaders, so she is making this visit. Taken advantage of by Trump, who emphasized that the wall "WORKS" in preventing illegal crossings and reminded his audience that Harris would witness its construction during his presidency, the moment was wasted.

Both Trump and Harris have made immigration a major platform issue leading up to the 2024 election. Voters of all stripes continue to prioritize border security, and Trump's harsh rhetoric on the subject has only served to heighten the political conflicts surrounding this issue.
