Arjun Kapoor recently featured in IMDb’s original series Burning Questions, sharing witty and heartfelt insights about his career, his favourite films, and even survival strategies on a deserted island.

When asked who he would pick from the Indian film industry to join him on a deserted island, Kapoor responded, “You would need somebody who can hunt, cook, Tom Hanks, Cast Away-ish kind of vibes. Saif Ali Khan might be a good cook. But I think whenever I have interacted with Shah Rukh Khan, I feel he can survive anything. He is so intelligent and sorted, he would find a way to survive. He could open his arms, and a boat would appear to rescue us! Pathaan can protect me, and Raj can bring positivity and love to the island.”
When asked who he would choose to build a boat at the island, Kapoor said, “Hrithik Roshan, because he is such a perfectionist. He would make sure the boat is as chiselled as his body. Also, I have a man crush on him, so he would take his t-shirt off, and I would just stare. He could lift the boat, and me, so we would sail away together.”

Reflecting on his own films, Kapoor revealed his desire to see Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar re-released, calling it “an underrated gem.” He said, “It’s one of those films that get lost in the big world of summer blockbusters and Bollywood theatricals. I hope more people watch it because the performances, the story, and its relevance to today are truly special. It deserves more love.” He also mentioned Ishaqzaade, saying, “It’s always a great watch, especially the interval and redemption.”

Kapoor was also gifted the IMDb Top 250 Highest Rated Indian Movies poster. When asked about his favourite film from the Top 250 list, he expressed his love for Hera Pheri. He called it “a cult classic,” reminiscing about its iconic dialogues, unforgettable characters, and the way it grew to become a fan favourite. “I saw it in theatres and went back two days in a row to see it. You can quote moments like ‘Utha le’ or Paresh Rawal saying, ‘Ladki ko kaise uthalu.’ It’s brilliant!”
