A needle was left inside the abdomen during the first delivery; it was removed during the second delivery; the newborn is on a ventilator.

The needle left inside the abdomen during the first delivery was removed during the second delivery. This negligence by the doctors occurred in Madhya Pradesh. The allegation is that a needle left inside the abdomen during the first delivery was found two years later in the case of a woman who delivered at Sanjeev Gandhi Hospital in the city. During delivery, a surgical needle caused multiple injuries to the newborn's body, leading the baby to be placed on a ventilator.

Hina Khan, a resident of Ghoghar in Rewa, along with her family members, has come forward with serious allegations against the hospital. On March 5, 2023, Hina Khan gave birth to her first child at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Rewa. Initially, both mother and child had no issues. However, a few days after being discharged from the hospital, Hina Khan began experiencing severe abdominal pain while returning home in a vehicle. The doctors assured her that it was pain from the stitches given during delivery and that it would subside within a few days, and she was sent home.

Two years later, Hina Khan arrived at the district hospital for the birth of her second child. During delivery, the doctors discovered a surgical needle along with the newborn baby. The presence of the needle caused her to endure severe pain throughout her entire pregnancy. Reports state that the baby is still on a ventilator in the hospital, while the mother's condition is satisfactory.
