Dr. Simi Jesto Joseph Receives IPCNA Media Excellence Award

Distinguished healthcare professional and television anchor Dr. Simi Jesto Joseph has been recognized with the Media Excellence Award by the India Press Club of North America (IPCNA) for her notable contributions to television journalism and community media. The honor was presented by N. K. Premachandran MP during the concluding ceremony of IPCNA’s 11ᵗʰ International Media Conference held at the Sheraton Edison Hotel, New Jersey.

Dr. Simi, who has been active in the media for over ten years, is well known for her engaging and balanced style as an anchor and presenter. She has hosted several admired programs such as US Weekly Roundup, which completed nearly 400 episodes, and Life & Health, among others aired on Asianet News, Flowers TV, and Kairali TV. Her professionalism and dedication have earned her a respected place among Malayalam media voices in North America.

Outside the media world, Dr. Simi holds a key leadership position in healthcare as the Senior Director of the Nursing Innovation and Research Center at Cook County Health System, Chicago. She has been honored as one of the ANA Illinois 40 Under 40 Nurse Leaders and listed among the Top Nurse Practitioners in the USA. A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, she is also an active member of several national and international nursing organizations and currently serves as President of the Indian Nurses Association of Illinois (INAI).

Expressing her gratitude, Dr. Simi thanked the India Press Club for recognizing her work and acknowledged the support of producer Raju Pallath, executive editor Anil Mattathilkunnel, and her family—husband Jesto Joseph and their children Aneena, Aiden, Aashna, and Ashish—for their constant encouragement and inspiration.
