Ensure basic tourist facilities Kolkata airport: Minister
Kolkata, July 7 : Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Tourism and Culture Mahesh Sharma on Tuesday asked the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport authorities in Kolkata to ensure delivery of basic facilities for tourists.
After reviewing various passenger amenities at the airport, the minister interacted with a section of employees as well as staff of private air-carriers and stalls to know more about the facilities available for the tourists.
He also held a high-level review meeting here.
The airport director, A.K. Sharma said it is presently handling 120 flights to different directions both in India and abroad every day.
