Adoor Gopalakrishnan's wife dead
Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 23 Sunanda, the wife of veteran film maker Adoor Gopalakrishnan, has passed away at a hospital in Mumbai, the family said on Wednesday. She was 66
She undergoing cancer treatment at a hospital in Mumbai, where she breathed her last on tuesday evening.
The body was brought to Gopalakrishnan's home here on Wednesday afternoon and people from several walks of life came to pay their homage.
The couple have one daughter, Aswathi, who is an Indian Police Service officer posted in Mumbai along with her husband C.Dorje, who is also an IPS officer.
