Mumbai, Sep 5: Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who is seen in a negative role in "Akira", has garnered positive response for his performance and he says people are appreciating him because of his "punch lines".

"The punch lines are so strong in the film and I feel because of that people are appreciating it. I believe more than me, it's the director and Sonakshi (Sinha) who has taken a huge risk with this film and I really appreciate that," Kashyap told IANS.

Kashyap has previously acted in films like "Black Friday", "No Smoking", "Dev.D", "Gulaal" and "Shagird". However, he doesn't want to make a career in acting.

"I don't want to make a career into acting. I will do acting only if there is a strong reason to do it. There should be the right intention and right money to do it," he said.

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the film also features Konkona Sen Sharma, Amit Sadh and Atul Kulkarni. It has hit the screens on Friday and has garnered decent response from everyone.
