Bollywood Sargam’s Full house NYE 2016 Gala with Tanushree Dutta

Chicago IL: Pratibha Jairath’s Bollywood Sargam celebrated New Year's Eve to usher in 2017 at Ashyana Banquets, 1620 75th street, Downers Grove, Illinois. The event was attended by over 700 people. The weather was unseasonably mild which helped people leave their cozy homes to celebrate the evening with fun and frolic. The celebrity guest of the event was Ms. Tanushree Dutta, a well-known Bollywood Actress, Model and Miss India Universe 2004. As the doors opened at 8:30 PM, the banquet hall was at capacity within half-an-hour, and the show went on until 1:00 AM.

Mr. Anoop Walia introduced the host of the evening, Ms. Pratibha Jairath. After a warm welcome, Ms Jairath thanked Mr. Surinder Jain of Ashyana Banquet for sumptuous food. She applauded the grand sponsor Mr. Anil Loomba of Home Mortgage Loan Solutions' for his contribution and support. Ms Jairath was then joined by Mr. Raju Bankapur to start with a romantic medley of “Tum hi ho” and “Soch na sake” that brought everyone to floor. She continued the mood of the evening with her beautiful voice singing “Prem ratan dhan payo” and “Chittiyaan kalaiyaan”, “Baby doll”. It was followed by solos and duets like “Bachna ae Hasseno” “Radha teri chunri”, “Badtameez dil”, "London Thumakda”, “Chikni chameli”, and “Breakup song" from Ae dil Mushkil.

Ms. Jairath introduced Ms. Mina Purohit and Mr. Kishore Purohit of IndiaTV USA who introduced new launch of "Desi View". She also thanked Mr & Mrs Brij Sharma for joining the celebration.

The event was a success as evidenced by the amazing excitement inside the banquet hall, anticipating the arrival of the beautiful Bollywood actress, Ms. Tanushree Dutta of Ashiq Banaya Apne fame. The hall echoed with applause when the Bollywood beauty walked down the stairs. She greeted the audience as she walked up onto the stage. The evening was full of special games and surprises. A catwalk competition was conducted where Tanushree Dutta taught catwalk to female audience members and announced two winners. Belly Dancer Christina set the dance floor afire with two beautiful performances including the dance on 'Mahiyya Mahiyya'. She entered the hall dancing and balancing a big shamadan candelabra on her head that was a treat to the eyes.

Party favors were distributed and the hall was filled with enthusiastic people wishing each other Happy New Year. The ambience and dinner arrangements at Ashyana were exemplary. It was a hundred item Cruise style dinner and top-shelf bar that was open from 9:00 PM until 12:00 AM. People sang, danced, and dined all through the evening into the late hours with nonstop music by DJ Abhi and Nupur Sound. Colorful balloon drop filled the hall with beautiful colors as 2017 was ushered in. Everyone gleefully greeted each other and the party ended at about 1AM on January 1st, 2017. This event was a grand success and elicited an outpouring of appreciation from the attendees. The guests said that they are looking forward to the party on 31st December, 2017 with Bollywood Sargam that put together this fabulous program this year.
