Ozil proved himself: Wenger
London, Nov 30 Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger said his key midfielder Mesut Özil performed well against Huddersfield Town in the English Premier league (EPL) tie and proved what he can do.
The German playmaker helped Arsenal to a 5-0 victory over Huddersfield Town on Wednesday night.
"Ozil is a great football player, but he shows as well at the moment he can fight," the Frenchman was quoted saying by Fox Sports.
"We started well but then we lost our focus and our passing and allowed them to come back into the game.
"Then we got the second goal and suddenly everyone played with more freedom and more technical quality -- then Mesut Ozil showed what he can do," Wenger added.
