Asian-American Leader Ajay Bhutoria Debuts Bollywood Campaign Song 'Nacho Nacho' to Boost Kamala Harris' Campaign
Washington, DC, September 9 :
"Nacho Nacho" is a Bollywood-themed song that South Asian community leader and Harris for President National Finance Committee member Ajay Bhutoria has released in support of Democratic candidate for US Vice President Kamala Harris, who is running for president this year.
According to a press release, the song is designed to motivate approximately 5 million South Asian voters in states that are considered crucial battlegrounds, such as Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona.
The "brighter future" for Indian-Americans is represented by Vice President Kamala Harris, Bhutoria emphasized.
"Vice President Harris is running for the future and to turn the page on the division of Donald Trump," added Bhutoria. For over 4.4 million Indian Americans, she represents strength and inspiration. To bring our community together and get them involved in this important election, we are using Bollywood music.
This "crucial moment" he said, needed the participation of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders.
We must rise and be counted now. It is imperative that the AANHPI community raises its voices in support of Kamala Harris so that she can be elected. Bhutoria revealed her intentions to produce more Bollywood music videos in an effort to boost Tim Walz's and Kamala Harris's voter participation.
To make sure that South Asian voters are completely energized, we will be creating more content. "Every South Asian vote counts this year," he declared, building on the success of their Bollywood-themed campaign advertisements in 2020.
Picking between Donald Trump's polarizing history and the future that Kamala Harris presents is at the heart of this election. "Our goal is to successfully organize and mobilize our supporters in order to win this election," Bhutoria emphasized.
Messages from community leaders in Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Hindi are included in the song, which was created by Ritesh Parikh and performed by Shibani Kashyap.
Kamala Harris, like Bollywood, is a unifying figure, Ritesh remarked. Her story reflects the rich diversity of our community and speaks to its members. Renowned Bollywood singer Shibani Kashyap performs the song, which draws inspiration from the energetic style of Bollywood and was co-produced by the creative team of Awesome TV, headed by Ritesh Parikh. Following the success of our prior endeavors in 2020, this program continues our heritage of engaging the South Asian community through music and cultural connection, according to the press release.
Music video fans of "Nacho Nacho" can relate to the message in the video regardless of their native language or cultural background.
A powerful call to action to support Kamala Harris in the upcoming election, the song's lyrics and dancing motions capture the joyous spirit of the Asian-American community in the United States.
The impending presidential elections, according to Bhutoria, are a watershed point in American history because of the increase in hate crimes, the halting of H1B visas, and the increasing difficulties faced by immigrants under Trump's leadership.
A lengthy shadow of fear, wrath, and division has been cast over our nation by Donald Trump's destructive leadership. An increase in hate crimes, the end of H1B visas, and other difficulties for immigrants were all signs of his leadership. Many people of color, particularly South Asians, were negatively impacted by his policies. Trump may say he is on India's side, but his actions beg to differ; the president has failed to sign any trade agreements, according to Bhutoria, cited in the news release.
Vice President Kamala Harris, on the other hand, provides optimism. She has empathy for minority groups, working families, and immigrants. Her stance is one of progress, inclusivity, and harmony. He went on to say that under her administration, the green card backlog will be reduced, immigrants will be protected, wages will be fair, small businesses will be supported, climate change will be tackled, and US-India relations will be improved.
After President Joe Biden withdrew from the race because to growing worries about his age, especially following his dismal performance in the June debate with Donald Trump, Harris was nominated as the Democratic candidate.
Harris would make history if she were elected president at the age of 59, becoming the first woman to hold that office in the United States. In the history of the United States, no major political party has ever nominated a female candidate for president before the vice president.
