Honda Cars India appoints new president
New Delhi, Feb 23
Automobile major Honda Cars India on Tuesday announced the appointment of Yoichiro Ueno as its new president and chief executive with effect from April 1.
According to the company, Ueno will take over from the incumbent Katsushi Inoue, who has been elevated to the position of operating officer of Honda Motors, becoming the chief operating officer for regional operations (Europe region).
Previously, Ueno has been the chief executive and managing director of Honda Malaysia since January 2011.
