Hundreds of participant in first sheer Umiya Mataji Navaratri nom Garba arranged by sheer Umiya Dham Chicago Midwest

Chicago IL: Around more than 2000 peoples attended Shree Umiya Mataji First Navaratri NOM Garba organized by Shree Umiya Dham Chicago Midwest (SUDCM) on Friday 29th 2017 at Naperville Yard in Naperville Illinois. Mtaji Palki was beautifully decorated Mataji Jyopti Rath was special attraction with all different color of lighting.

Program started at 7 pm with Deep pragatya ceremony by Mafatbhai Patel of our Grand sponsor “Patel Brothers” accompanied by SUDCM team and community leaders. Even program being on Friday regular work day everyone showed up on time to enjoy the Mataji Garba. There were numbers of community leaders attended the event and stayed for entire program

Venue was wonderful with very high ceiling and nice heavy sag carpet turf. It was great feeling in every one’s mind. It was mix audience with all ages. Natubhai Thakkar and his team with Brijesh Parekh & Shobhna Sankar of Roshni Productions with their wonderful voice and music got everyone on their hills all night along. Everyone enjoyed every bit of it. Every one enjoyed the two tali, three tali, ras garba, sanedo and throughout some testy food and snacks as well. Off course ladies did little bit of shopping as well at the booths.

SUDCM and volunteer team did great job on reaching out community, organizing the event, managing the event and at the end restoring venue back to normal. Lucky Draw was planned and managed by Hemant and Sunil Patel. Thanks to them. They have collected over $1000.00. Good job guys. Both phone give away were purchased by one of our board member. So, it was no cost to SUDCM.
