Qualcomm appoints Sunil Lalvani as India head
New Delhi:Qualcomm Incorporated has appointed Sunil Lalvani as vice president and president of its India operations, a company statement said here on Monday.
Lalvani's appointment will be effective July 27 and he will report directly to Cristiano Amon, executive vice president and co-president, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.
He is succeeding Avneesh Agrawal, senior vice president and president of Qualcomm India and South Asia.
Lalvani has more than 20 years of experience in sales, business development, strategic planning and business operations across the IT and telecom sectors.
Prior to this appointment he was working with BlackBerry, where he served as managing director of India and SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation).
