Sensex trades 63 points down in early session
Mumbai: A benchmark index of Indian equities markets, the 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), on Wednesday was trading 63.19 points or 0.23 percent down during the morning session.
The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 29.20 points or 0.34 percent down at 8,437.35 points.
The Sensex of the S&P Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 27,851.81 points, was trading at 27,768.35 points (at 9.23 a.m.) in the early session, down 63.19 points or 0.23 percent from the previous day's close at 27,831.54 points.
The Sensex has touched a high of 27,865.85 points and a low of 27,721.25 points in the trade so far.
