Mumbai, Aug 21 : Mumbai Metro One Pvt Ltd, a Reliance Infrastructure Ltd venture, has launched a combo-tourism package 'Mumbai Metro Darshan' which will take tourists on a daylong guided tour of major destinations and allow them to avail unlimited metro rides for places around the network.

Costing Rs.300 per head, roughly the price of a regular Mumai tour trip, it will be offered in collaboration with a local tour operator, a company official said here on Friday.

"In the combo package customer can also visit attractions around the Metro line through unlimited rides in Metro for a single day. The package offers various flexibility of choice of the days for either of the tour," the official said.

The buyer of the package may first opt for Metro Darshan and then avail it for rest of the Mumbai or may chose to have a guided tour of Mumbai first and then may enjoy the destinations around the Metro Line within the validity period of coupon - 30 days, with breaks if needed in between.

"This initiative would add the feel and flavor of festivity among our commuters and encourage them to avail this fast, safe and comfortable mode of public transport," said a spokesperson explained.

Visitors can buy the combo package from any of the customer care office at Metro Stations, comprising two coupons with a 30-day validity.

For Mumbai Darshan, they can book their seats on two designated telephone number and have a guided tour of more than 50 destinations in the country's commercial capital.
