Railways' new financial commissioner appointed
New Delhi, Oct 1 : S. Mookerjee has taken over as the new financial commissioner of railways, an official statement said on Thursday.
He succeeds Rajalakshmi Ravi Kumar who retired from service on September 30.
Prior to his new role, Mookerjee was posted as director general at the National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR) in Gujarat's Vadodara.
An 1978 batch officer of Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS), Mookerjee has worked on various higher and middle level management posts in the railways.
